He is starting to eat some dry air though so hopefully it cycles through ans slowly begins to weaken him. It's going to be slow but you can see it slowly moving toward him. This sucks so bad. All of my family that stayed is freaking out and while it's part of my job to keep people calm, when it's your family it's a lot tougher.
I tried to warn my family that this was not going to be an easy night. Just got a text back from them, they have not been able to sleep all night. Nola has at least another 12 hrs of this if not longer. Let me check what the 06z gfs has to say.
I stayed because my mother in law has pretty severe dementia. Never again. Taking the kids and dogs and getting the f out. Thought we would get a break when the eye passed over, but it looks like its gonna be south of us. Wish the sun would come out at least.
Part of the eye is over Galliano, pressure of 970mb, unreal.

PinkFreud: No offense to whomever keeps changing the look of this forum, but this white theme is driving me crazy. What happened to the nice blues and grays?

coffeecups: Mother Mary took care of my property again. Even the cat's food and water were by the door instead of floating to the drain. AMAZING!
