You know, there hasn't been much hype talk about the upcoming season thus far. Watch, this is the season that'll get us lol.
Yeap, that's what I keep saying, the past few seasons it seems like it has been contrary to what experts forecast.
My thinking is that we will see an early busy season in the western basin during May & June before slowing down some during the usual July & early August dessert across the MDR that could spread into the rest of the basin. Depending on an El Nino develping or not could be a busy period for home brew stuff during the peak of the season, which my thinking is that we will not see a typical El Nino until next year. As always this is just my Amateur Opinon
As you can see at the top of this screen, there are parts of the gulf coast still being affected by storms, even though it is far from us. I was surprised to see that too after first reading your post. See you around the 12th!
Welcome. No one can say anything about the arrival of storms in the River Parishes, especially since it seems to have stalled over western LA. I'm no expert, but I'm thinking about 2am until its ended. Think of all those poor people in western LA right now and just maybe we'll get lucky or blessed.
Did it really ever start . Sure miss the days when the weather guys would actually talk about blue northers, article express, and artic clippers. For you youngsters that was back when we actually had winters. On a side note, went fishing Saturday and the water temp was between 60 and 61. Pretty crazy for the first of February. Have a feeling its going to be a long summer.
Am I the only one that constantly has trouble with Proboards? It constantly makes content disappear when I try to scroll....I have to go back and forth on pages to try to get images to 'stick'. For instance whatever Biloxi beach images Dylan posted shown up as empty boxes for a second then disappear altogether.
So I can't even see them to select for viewing.

I've had my problems too. Today, so far, I don't seem to have any problems. Most of my problem came when I started looking at the winter threads.
Thanks to the rain, my neighborhood doesn't sound like it's blowing up due to fireworks
What rain? I hear more fireworks than rain at the moment. Now I am hearing a lot more fireworks. OOpps. Almost midnight. Too bad it is not raining, especially since fireworks are supposedly illegal here and most of those with fireworks can better use their money.

coffeecups: Came home to Harvey from Slidell. Had a little rain here and there. There was no rain in Slidell when I left at 3:30pm. While in NO EAST, I saw where it looked like it was storming around Covington going towards Slidell. Wet but no rain when I got home
